The Director of International Relations and Academic Linkages (DIAL), Dr. Umulkher Ali, is delighted to present to you the following call on internships available in Denmark. 

It is targeting students involved in  Food Science and Nutrition, Animal Health, and Agribusiness Management that are under the Department of Agriculture and Department of Public Health. 

The visit by French Diplomat, Ms. Léa Laouaf, an officer of Education and French to Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is set to boost the partnership and the French Embassy and the institution. On 14th June 2024, hosted Ms. Laouaf, during an official visit with the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Mutai. The meeting was attended by key faculty members from MMUST’s School of Arts and Social Sciences- Department of Language |and Literature Education. Discussions focused on strengthening the partnership between MMUST and the French Embassy, promoting French language education in the region, and exploring global career opportunities for students proficient in French.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology’s prolific Scholars-Prof. Benedict Ondiek Alala and Dr. Umulkher Ali are among the twenty (20) participants selected to participate in the prestigious Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) UNILEAD Eastern Africa 2024 training course. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Center for Life-Long Learning (C3L) at the Carl Von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (Germany) together with Rongo University (Kenya), are jointly organizing this exciting course.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology is set to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) and Sokoni Magharibi. Yesterday, 12th February, 2024, Sugar Campaign for Change Chairman, Hon. Saulo Busolo and the Managing Consultant-Sokoni Magharibi, Ms. Gillian Mutere, visited the University to discuss the formalization of the partnership. The two (2) were received by the Director of International Relations and Academic Linkages (DIAL), Dr. Umulkher Ali, and were joined virtually by the Director-Corporate Communications and Marketing (DCCM), Dr. Lydia Anyonje, as well as African Center for Sustainable Development’s Mr. Vincent Luzira.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology is set to become an E-waste Disposal Centre, the benefactors being the School of Computing and the School of Medicine in collaboration with the Computer for Schools Kenya (CFSK) who donated Manikins for practical training. The meeting was held at the Vice chancellor’s office, Prof, Solomon Shibairo on the 31st of July 2023 where the two schools were offered Manikins by the CFSK Director.
